How Flame Rewards and Promo Codes Work for Owners
Drivers can enter a promo code and spend Flame Rewards points when they book on the website or in the Flame app. The short version for owners: Flame pays for all of it, and you are paid what you would have been paid without the discount. There is nothing to set up.
Your payout stays the same
When a driver uses a promo code or their points at your yard, the discount comes out of Flame's share, not yours. Your payout is worked out on the full price, as if no discount had been used.
If a discount is ever bigger than Flame's fee on that booking, Flame sends you the difference, so you are still paid in full.
How drivers earn and spend points
Drivers earn Flame Rewards points only on monthly parking they book in the Flame app on iPhone or Android: one point for every dollar they pay, on every month they keep the spot. Daily stays, website bookings and bookings our team makes do not earn points for parking. Drivers can also earn 100 points for leaving a review, and 100 more for adding two or more photos.
Every 100 points is $5 off, spent at checkout. A driver types in at most one promo code per booking and can use points on top; every booking still costs at least 50 cents. Points last 18 months.
Why it helps your yard
Rewards give drivers a reason to book monthly and to book online, where payment, spot choice and gate details are handled in the app instead of by phone. Monthly tenants mean steadier occupancy and fewer empty spots between short stays.
Promo codes, such as one for a driver's first booking, bring new drivers to yards on Flame. Because Flame funds them, your nightly and monthly prices stay exactly as you set them.
Company-owned yards
Yards Flame owns and runs itself have no owner payout, so none of the above changes anything there.
